Swim Stroke Analysis
I want to improve my stroke technique
I want to get faster for squads
I dont get enough attention for stroke correction
I want to neaten up my stroke
I want to swim faster
I want to be a more efficient swimmer
Stroke2Stroke do individual stroke analysis and correction clinics for swimmers who have a desire to improve their technical ability. The endless pool is perfect for this type of teaching.
The key factor is the static swimming that takes place in the pool as the swimmer swims against the fully adjustable current. This operates similar to a running treadmill. The pool has several mirrors on the floor in which the swimmer can watch their stroke as they swim. This gives them direct feedback during a particular activity from your own personal teacher.
The instructor who stands adjacent to the swimmer can clearly see the technique of the swimmer and allows instructions to be given when swimming. This instant feedback and stroke corection is far quicker than is possible in a squad session at a conventional pool. (the swimmer could for instance have done 400m before the problem is picked up). This focus on technique gives positive results whether its to improve a stoke like fly, or swim faster.
The pool has a number of underwater video cameras that transmit via computer onto a wall mounted 12 volt waterproof TV. Stroke detail is captured and this allows the swimmer to see what they are actually doing, and gives them the ability to see the problem and change it. This is analysed and remedial techniques employed to adapt and correct a stroke. It can be recorded to a DVD of your swim.
The outcome is a more efficient stroke which in turn means more energy for speed or endurance (or both). This is both useful for competitive swimmers such as triathlete swimmers and also club swimmers.
Your teacher is an experienced swimmer who knows what it is like to pursue a grueling training programme at a club.
Stroke2Stroke is cost effective of your time and money. In a 30 minute lesson you get 30 mins attention from your teacher. In a normal pool group lesson of say 10 swimmers, you would only get about 3 mins attention from your teacher. Kids swim lessons, adult swim lessons and special needs swim lessons all benefit from our swim stroke analysis.
